N O T I C E August 26, 2010
To accommodate the renovation of the U.S. Department of Commerce Herbert Clark Hoover Building (HCHB), the Central Records Unit has moved to room 7046, the space previously occupied by the Departmental Library on the 7th floor. The CRU will be open for business in the new location on Monday, August 30, 2010. Public access to the CRU and services will not be affected by the move. Visitors should enter the HCHB at the main building entrance on 14th Street, NW. Visitors will be escorted to the CRU in compliance with current security requirements.
The CRU will remain in this location until November 2011 when Phase II of the building renovation is scheduled to be completed. After Phase II
has been completed, the CRU will move to permanent space in the basement area previously occupied by the Credit Union.
